Organised walks led by a qualified walk leader throughout the year come rain or shine.
Walking is a great calorie burner. It is low intensity, low impact, sustainable and easy to do. All you need is a good pair of shoes, suitable clothing for the weather and enthusiasm! Come along and join in with this great form of exercise, which is healthy, fun and free.
Regular brisk walking can help prevent heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes. All walk leaders are volunteers who help us to help the local community to improve their health, fitness and well being.
Please only attend a walk if you have a confirmed booking as numbers are limited owing to government guidelines. Unfortunately no dogs are permitted on walks at this time.
